Greetings all, hope everyone out in the Chi is having a frigid-ass time… I went out and grabbed a ton of new-to-me music for this show and carefully picked out the tracks and set a good pace for the show. Show starts out with a bunch of jackin’ tunes, then progresses through to some deeper stuff at the end to round out the night. The end result was a set that was not only smooth, but upbeat and jazzy, probably my best since October of last year! I liked it so much, I uploaded it in 192kbps format and actually filled out all of the mp3 tag info, share with a friend!

Also, Feb 5th I will be droppin some tunes with Mixwell House on their show “Boom’s Day Operation” on MyHouse-YourHouse Radio, get excited for that!

Our (myself and DJ Sangre’s) good friends Jeff Bloom and Andrew Emil (PO!NTF!VE, FourPlay, Broadway & Wilson) called us up over the weekend and said they had Belgian DJ’s Ricardo (Gourmand, Herbal Essence, Belgium), David Foyh (Beaubar, Jacksteppers, Belgium) and Jensen (Decadance, What’s Cookin, Belgium) in town and wanted us to host them. Needless to say we couldn’t refuse, and the gang showed up and we all had a freakin’ blast in the studio that night! These guys threw down some awesome tunes that they picked up from Gramophone that day, and gave a preview of their show at Uptown Lounge. Big ups to all 5 of them for making this night happen! Rock On!!!

What’s up out there… I tried to keep this set a little more upbeat, but still pretty smooth. Track selection was pretty good, but for some reason I could not get the hang of the decks tonight… oh well! Hope some of you had a chance to catch Switch, Santiago, and Sexual Chocolate out at Smartbar that Saturday night, heard it was a kick ass show.
